LUKE MITRANI

Luke Mitrani, the youngest rider ever to make the quarterfinals at the US Open, continues to ride larger than life. He¡¯s graduated from the Smalls to the North American Team, and from the ice of Stratton, Vermont to the worldwide shred circus. Luke¡¯s skills have risen accordingly and once again he spent the winter balancing a big league competition schedule with filming for Standard¡¯s upcoming release ¡°Draw the Line.¡± Competition highlights include his stellar performance at the Oakley Style Masters in China, and two trips to Japan¡ªone to the Toyota Big Air in Sapporo, and another to the Nippon Open, where he got eighth in the pipe and put on one hell of a show at the rail jam. Off snow, Luke likes to tear apart any piece of pipe or pavement he can find on his skate and chill with his older bro Jack.
