MASON AGUIRRE

Mason¡¯s huge airs and smooth skate-style have made him a dangerous threat at every contest he enters. After an incredibly busy and successful 2005, Mason¡¯s sights were firmly set on a trip to Torino, and he came through in spades. He locked in his Olympic team spot with second place finishes at both the Mount Bachelor Grand Prix and the second Breckenridge Grand Prix, and finished a solid fourth at the big show in Bardonecchia, Italy. Although the Olympics were his main focus, Mason¡¯s skills are so dialed that he also clinched a win at the World Superpipe Championships in Park City, second at the X-Games superpipe, and third at the US Open superpipe, as well as kicking ass at the Vans Cup with a second in slopestyle and fifth in pipe. Mason is currently working on the Custom with fellow teammates Heikki and Mads, as well as working on development of the Boxer boot and Burton¡¯s new streetwear line.
