SUPERGRASS

Supergrass first burst in UK in 1995,consisting of guitarist/vocalist Gaz Coombes, bassist Mickey Quinn, and drummer Danny Goffey. Two of the trio were still in their teens when they recorded their debut single ¡°Caught by the Fuzz¡± in the summer of 1994.The single won great praises from Blur and Elastica. ¡°I Should Coco¡±, the debut album was released in May 1995.While the band's popularity continuing to grow, the album stayed in the Top Three for nearly a month. Since then, they had done three albums ¡°In It For The Money¡±, ¡°Supergrass¡±, ¡°Life On Other Planets¡±. As a celebration of just getting to10 years ,the band released the benchmark album¡°Best Of, Supergrass Is 10¡±.

Last year, the band brought their utterly different record ¡°Road To Rouen¡±. It¡¯s time for the band¡¯s chaper two, they have to move on.

Their hits include ¡®Alright¡¯, ¡®Caught By The Fuzz¡¯, ¡®Lenny¡¯, ¡®Richard 3rd¡¯, ¡®Sun Hits The Sky¡¯, ¡®Pumping On Your Stereo¡¯, and ¡®St. Petersburg¡¯.

The 2006 Beijing Pop Festival is Supergrass¡¯ China debut.
